Agent-assisted business development in early-stage life science companies
Aeormen Labs · *Corresponding author: support@aeormenlabs.com
Abstract
Early-stage life science companies routinely stall not at the bench but at the market: the science advances while partnering, licensing and visibility wait for commercial bandwidth that a founding team rarely has. Here we describe a service that runs business development, lead generation and marketing for such companies: commercial work led by a scientist-founder's audit and strategy, carried at volume by agent pipelines he builds, shaped to each company rather than templated, and reviewed by a person before release. The first call takes thirty minutes: findings on the table first, then how this works and whether it is a fit.
Keywords: lead generation · business development · marketing audit · web presence
1. The assay: run it on your company
Eight questions, yes or no. Each answer loads one well. When all eight lanes are loaded, run the gel: every band drops onto what fixes it, and a band that stays in the well means that part of your business is fine.

2. Background
The people who can explain a bispecific antibody are rarely the people booking the meetings that fund one. In a typical early-stage company the commercial function is a founder's evenings: partner outreach happens after the experiments, licensing conversations stall for weeks between replies, and the company's public presence says less than its poster from last spring. Runway, meanwhile, does not pause.
Generalist agencies do not close this gap. They speak reach and impressions, not mechanisms and indications; a partnering conversation mishandled in the first sentence does not get a second one. The gap calls for commercial work that speaks science: a person who has pitched it, backed by agents built in-house to keep the repetitive work moving at the pace early-stage science actually demands.
3. Methods
Four services, each pairing conventional business development and marketing with agents built in-house: run individually or in sequence, configured to the company, its field, its stage, its wording. Every output passes a human referee before anything reaches a partner, an inbox or the public. Peer review, applied to your commercial work.
- 3.1 Lead generation. Finds who is actually licensing, partnering or acquiring in your space, whether that is a pharma company, a CDMO, another startup or a university research group, then the named person there, and lands a shortlist with context on every name. In practice: you approve the target profile once; batches of named, researched contacts arrive on a schedule, each with why-them context and a suggested opener.
- 3.2 Business development. Looks at the business model itself, splits what is proven from what is assumed, then names the buyer, the way in, and the order of moves that follow: a plan that holds when someone pushes back on it. In practice: a written plan you can defend to your board. Who buys, in what order, and what each step is for.
- 3.3 Marketing audit. Six readings of your website and wider web presence: message, conversion path, technical health, search visibility, competitive position, and trust signals. Out comes a grade and a ranked list of fixes. In practice: a graded report on your web presence with fixes ranked by impact, delivered before your first call with us.
- 3.4 Web presence. A site that speaks science and still sells: researched first, written second, designed last, fast on a phone. In practice: your current site is audited first; what gets built is argued from evidence, not taste.
| Protocol | You bring | You receive |
|---|---|---|
| 3.1 Lead generation | Your field and stage | A named shortlist with context per name |
| 3.2 Business development | What is proven, what is assumed | The buyer, the way in, the order of moves |
| 3.3 Marketing audit | A URL | A grade and a ranked list of fixes |
| 3.4 Web presence | Your science, your goal | A site that speaks both |
4. Before the first call
We read before we talk. Our marketing audit agent (3.3) runs an initial screening of your online presence, and a person reviews it before we call, so the first call starts with findings, then covers how this works and whether it fits. Send your site and an email below, and book a time from about a day out.
Send your site read before we talk

Your site enters analysis now. Book a time from about 24 hours out, so the findings are on the table when we talk.

This page measures nothing without consent: analytics load only after an explicit yes, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 [1], and the little data this page collects, a URL and an email, is used to read your site before the call, then for nothing else. We say this unprompted because we would rather you check than take our word.

The first call is free, thirty minutes, no slides: how this works, whether it fits your company, and roughly what it costs. If nothing fits, we will say so. Prefer to write? support@aeormenlabs.com
